6. Pinoy Progressive Community Presents: Prog in Motion
August 07, 2013 12:00:00 AM
From http://pinoyprogcommunity.com/
Pinoy Progressive Community is proud to announce another prog event: In Motion. Featuring 5 powerful bands that are guaranteed to blow you away, the event showcases the incredible talent of Filipinos in the sophisticated and artful prog music.
In Motion is locked and loaded to bring the house down on August 7th with such talented bands as Dark Crayola, Fuseboxx, Ophidia, CHOI and Oh Man! Oh God!
The title In Motion signifies the survival and growth of prog music despite the challenges that this type of music faces in a pop- and novelty-dominated industry. This is not your average gig. This is a night of progressive and technical music, a not-so-common event when bands of this caliber join together to gather the fans, listeners, and other bands alike in a growing community.
To revive the essence of our production of “In Progression,” we are hoping to be able to hold this type of event every month, presenting to the local scene the level of talent that our prog bands have. That is something to look forward to.
Come and bring your friends to Freedom Bar on Wednesday, August 7th, 2013. Entrance fee is only P150 and you get a beer for free. Event starts at 9:00 PM.
